You should read this policy in full, but here are some of the more important points that you should understand:
We require certain information to provide our services to you. For example, you must have an account in order to upload or share content on INTCAS. When you choose to share the information below with us, we collect and use it to operate our services.
All of our service features, such as viewing people’s showcases or submitting an application, require an INTCAS account. If you do choose to create an account, you must provide us with some personal data so that we can provide our services to you. On INTCAS this includes your name, date of birth, a username, a password, and an email address. Your name is always public.
Some activity on INTCAS is public, including your showcase information, and your public posts and certain information about your public posts like the date and time you posted. The, people you follow and who follow you, and public posts you Like are also public. Information posted about you by other people who use our services may also be public. For example, other people may mention you in a public post.
You are responsible for your posts and other information you provide through our services, and you should think carefully about what you make public, especially if it is sensitive information. If you update your public information on INTCAS, such as by deleting a post or deactivating your account, we will reflect your updated content on intcas.com.
We provide certain features that let you communicate more privately. For example, you can use Private Messages to have non-public conversations on INTCAS. When you communicate with others by sending or receiving Private Messages, we will store and process your communications and information related to them. This includes detection of spam and prohibited images, and review of reported issues. We also use information about whom you have communicated with and when (but not the content of those communications) to better understand the use of our services and to protect the safety and integrity of our platform. We share the content of your Private Messages with the people you’ve sent them to. When you use features like Private Messages to communicate, remember that recipients have their own copy of your communications on INTCAS – even if you delete your copy of those messages from your account – which they may duplicate or store.
You may provide us with payment information, including your credit or debit card number, card expiration date, CVV code, and billing address, in order to purchase our products and services. INTCAS does not store this information, however a record of any transactions will be maintained.
PayPal processes all of the transactions on the Site and PayPal are the only people who see your credit card information. PayPal’s use of your information is governed by its own privacy terms and we refer you to PayPal’s website at www.paypal.co.uk. Neither INTCAS nor anyone else views or has access to your credit card information.
As part of our Application engine, you will be expected to provide personal information, including any academic, employment and immigration history, any pertinent financial, medical and criminal disclosures and any documentation that supports your application. Data shared as part of an application will only be shared with the institutions you select and any 3rd-party partners who are necessary as part of the application process. Your data is never sold on to other parties.
Given that the Internet is a global environment, using it to collect and process personal data necessarily involves the transmission of data on an international basis. This means that data you pass to us may be processed outside the European Economic Area, although the data will always be held securely and in line with the requirements of UK data protection legislation. We share or disclose your personal data with your consent or at your direction, such as when you authorize a third-party provider to offer an additional service or when you submit an application to an institution. We always do our best to ensure that our third-party providers are GDPR compliant, so that your personal data is always in safe hands.
We share or disclose non-personal data, such as aggregated information like the total number of applications submitted, the market trends across locations, or reports to community members about how many people viewed their showcases.
You control the personal data you share with us. You can access or rectify this data at any time. You can also deactivate your account. We also provide you tools to object, restrict, or withdraw consent where applicable for the use of data you have provided to INTCAS. And we make the data you shared through our services portable and provide easy ways for you to contact us.
If you have registered an account on INTCAS, we provide you with tools and account settings to access, correct, delete, or modify the personal data you provided to us and associated with your account. Information provided as part of an application may not be rectified, as the original application must be maintained.

When deactivated, your INTCAS account, including your display name and public profile, will no longer be viewable on intcas.com. Some information, such as information included as part of an application, will not be deleted for auditing purposes.
When you are logged into your INTCAS account, you can raise an in-platform support request at any time to object, restrict or withdraw you consent.
